Rainham Steel operates from its head office based in Rainham, Essex and a satellite sales office based in Bury near Manchester together with its two distribution depots located in Rainham and Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

The main distribution facility for the company, which houses all of the structural sections and structural hollow sections, is based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. The site was opened in September 2002, and is widely recognised as one of the most modern, safe and efficient steel distribution depots in Europe. The flagship 70 acre facility was primarily chosen for its locality to the nearby British Steel mills, as well as offering ease of access to the dock facilities for imports and exports.

The company has recently expanded its operations in the South East with the development of a new industry leading reinforcing rod fabrication plant in Rainham.
